Today I had the opportunity to join 11Alive to talk about PLAY: VOICES OF AAPI, our upcoming concert presented by Magic Eastern Ensemble.

As an introverted artist, live interviews are always a little nerve-wracking — but I’m grateful for the chance to share why this concert means so much to us.

PLAY: VOICES OF AAPI is about bringing traditional instruments into today’s live music world, connecting cultures through sound, and showing how music can create understanding beyond language.
