Excited to share that my work The Invisible has been selected for Fables in Form, an international juried exhibition presented by Asian Art Contemporary. 🤍
This mixed media work on Wasli paper feels especially close to me it’s a piece rooted in what hides in plain sight, in memory and in form.
The exhibition runs April 27 – July 31, 2026 online, and it’s an honour to be in this group of artists, selected by jurors , In , and

Mark your calendars! 🗓️✨
I’m thrilled to announce my participation in the fundraiser at on May 20th. I’ll be showcasing an 8x10 portrait for the “Reflections” exhibition a project dedicated to the portraits that define our community.
It’s going to be an incredible night of art and advocacy in the heart of Jersey City. I would love to see some familiar faces there!
Check the link in my bio for more details on the event and how you can support the foundation’s amazing work. 🔗

Title - Lost Comb
Size - 8x10 inch
Acrylic on canvas

Some things are found only when we stop searching.
There is a kind of memory that does not arrive as an image, no photograph, no timestamp, but as a feeling that settles somewhere beneath the ribs and stays. Quietly. For years. Until one day it asks to become something.
A comb tucked in silver hair. A small, laughing discovery that meant nothing and everything at once, the way only a child can recognize the poetry in the ordinary without knowing that is what they are doing. That moment asked for nothing. It simply gave itself, freely, and waited.
Distance has a weight that photographs cannot carry. When the world asks you to grieve from far away, the hands reach instinctively for what they know. For color. For the quiet labor of recreating what the eye can no longer see.

She is not looking back. Perhaps she never needed to.
What remains after great distances, of miles, of time, of loss, is not always what we thought we were holding onto. Sometimes it is smaller. A glint of gold against grey. An afternoon that was somehow, without our knowing, the whole of everything.

When my mini me is home and I'm desperate for productivity. Solution- let them assist. The 'can I help you' chant is music to my ears. Sometimes I take them up on it, not for efficiency, but for the cuteness. The praise is the icing on the cake. 'Mumma, you're amazing! but honestly, her unfiltered efforts are what melt my heart. She's more genuine than I'll ever be!

Saturday night at the VIP opening of the Every Woman Biennial at Pen + Brush Gallery in NYC. I walked in and stopped. The line outside the door was already long before it even opened. That’s when you know.
Inside, the work was stunning. Artists from all over, each piece carrying its own weight. Being in the same room with that kind of energy, that kind of intention, it reminded me why I do this.
Honored to be part of this exhibition alongside so many remarkable women artists. Selected from 800+ applicants and still pinching myself.
If you’re in NYC, the show runs through April 11. Go.
