Josh Bisset and Laura Quattrocchi founders of Shuaspace have relocated to Detroit and are working on developing Andy an artist-run space focused on community and the performing arts in the Hope Village neighborhood of NW Detroit. Our aim again is to shape a space that is in dialogue with the local community. We thank for the contribution to Shuaspace.

Hello dear followers. Thank you for your interest in community and the power of art. We have learned so much through our short life in this amazing neighborhood and saw how art can bring the whole world together. We have moved to Detroit and founded a creative space under the name of Andy. We are passing the torch to Katelyn Halpern and her SMUSH Gallery which shares our values about Art and Community. Hello from the Jersey City Arts Council! We are honored to be hosted by Shuaspace! Stop by ShuaSpace this Friday, June 2, from 5-7pm to meet us, and plan to join us on June 14 at City Hall, 6pm, when we will be petitioning the city council to incorporate arts funding into the city budget. Shua Space is thrilled to have Tuva Hildebrand as Artist in Residence. Tuva Hildebrand is an actor, dancer, improviser, dance- and theater maker based in Sweden and New York. Tuva was introduced to the stage in 1993, as a part of her mother’s touring circus company.
She is invested in creating interdisciplinary work that investigate, decompose and reconstruct gender, identity politics, sexuality, feminism and objectification within popular culture, art, social history and politics, and that affects change on a personal, social and political level. https://tuvahildebrand.com
