Hudson Shakespeare Company is a regional touring Shakespeare festival that presents Shakespeare titles, modern productions and educational programs.

Hudson Shakespeare Company is one of Hudson County, NJ's longest running theatre companies and home of the Hudson County Shakespeare Festival in Jersey City and Hoboken. Established in 1992, the festival has toured Shakespeare and modern plays to municipal parks, libraries, court rooms and other civic locations. We produce a core summer program of 3 productions, one for each month of the summer, w

hich range from well known Shakespeare titles to lesser done titles of the Bard's works. Each production's style is unique, with us you can catch a modern take on "Hamlet", but also see a production of "Timon of Athens". We pride our company on producing the lesser done plays as we feel other theatre companies tend to over produce the more popular Shakespeare titles and ignore some very good work found in the lesser done shows. In the non summer months, we produce modern theater titles such as "Inherit the Wind" and school program's such as our all-female "As You Like It" along with student Shakespeare workshops. Although based in the Jersey City/Hoboken area, our tour encompasses Hackensack,NJ, Fort Lee, NJ, Kenilworth, NJ, West Milford, NJ, and Stratford, CT

As the curtain closes on Twelfth Night, our hearts are full of gratitude.

Thank you to the Milford Arts Council and Eastbound Theatre for partnering with us on this magical journey to Illyria, and to Eisenhower Park for giving us a stage under the stars. To our volunteers, your time and generosity made everything possible.

To the Stratford Library, thank you for warmly hosting us, and to the Friends of Boothe Park, your endless support and excitement carried us through every performance.

To our audiences—whether you laughed, wept, or cheered —thank you for showing up and sharing this story with us.

A heartfelt thank you to Boothe Memorial Park for being a truly magical home to our production of Twelfth Night. Performing in front of the breathtaking rose garden was a dream, and we are so grateful for the beauty and history this park brought to our stage.

To everyone who came out to laugh, cheer, and be swept up in the story — thank you for being part of the magic. Your presence made each show unforgettable.
