Days don’t always pan out like you plan them to, do they?! Tuesday night and all day yesterday my daughter Xena, who is 5, looked like she was coming down with a cold, high fever, runny nose, lethargic.. So, of course today I kept her off, but kids being kids she soon bounced back by lunchtime!!! But I didn’t want to let a good opportunity go to waste and was keen on showing Xena how to do some decoupage, after working with some Y6 students last week.. (After all, she helped me paint all the bases white in preparation!!) Lol, but all she wanted to do was draw and smudge and scratch rainbows!! 🤣🌈 💗 🫶🏼
In the meantime however, I upcycled an old magnolia lampshade, 2 x scallop shells and an 80’s placemat, there are more to come!! (should have taken a before photo they were that hideous, sitting unwanted and unloved in a charity shop for God knows how long!!)..

✨I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but think it might be time to open my Etsy shop again soon!! Am absolutely loving the motivation and enjoyment of getting all creative again!! And, even more, i love being able to spend what I can of that magical time with my 5 yo showing her my arty skills!! (Even if all she wants to do is paint rainbows!!) 🤣🤣🤣
