Jersey City Theater Center is proud to announce the playwrights selected for the 2026 Garden State New Play Festival: Andrew Bentley, Alia Berry, MC Crosby, Emmanuel Ebba III, Danielle Frimer, Amanda Faye Lacson, Victoria Lenga, Palesa Mazamisa, Nancy Méndez-Booth, Aaron Morrill, Tracie E. Morrison, M. D. Schaffer, and Sam Sultan.

We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the New Jersey Play Lab and to welcome these extraordinary artists to Jersey City. Their voices, stories, and bold new works are at the heart of our shared commitment to supporting playwrights and advancing the future of American theater.
