Today’s spotlight is a double feature with Alex Minter and Matt Zabiegala!

Alex:
Voice part: Tenor
Live: Central Jersey, where I teach High School Choir and guitar, and work with various community and church choirs
Fav music: I love music scores for video games
Fav foods: Huge fan of sushi and pizza
Pets: 2 wonderful cats named Jimmy and Shorty
Hobbies: Spending time in the Gym and gaming on my pc
Fun fact: I have a Lego collection that grows bigger every year!

Matt:
Voice part: All the tenor!
Live/work/study: Chatham, NJ; Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (Director of Music), New Jersey Chamber Singers (Artistic Director), Wagner College (Adjunct Professor).
Ohio State '12 (B.M.E. Music Ed.)
Rutgers '19 (M.M. Choral Conducting)
Fav music: Recently played on Spotify: Huntertones, Anna Lapwood, Lili Boulanger, Laura Mvula.
Fav foods: ANY kind of Asian cuisine, and German/Polish food.
Pets: Sutton (fox red English Labrador) & Maxwell (Red Heeler)
Fun fact: Training in Korean martial arts for 20 years, acquiring a bountiful amount of houseplants.

Voice part : Alto 1
Live, work, study: I live and teach K-4 General Music, Voice and Piano in Union, NJ
Fav music: Hip Hop...it’s like a musical scavenger hunt/history lesson for my ears.
Fav foods: Mexican food… especially Margaritas!
Pets: I don’t have any pets, but I do have plants.
Hobbies: Taking walks, yoga, reading, going to the beach, or any combination of those.
Fun fact: I have been a contestant on “Wait Wait, Don’t tell me!” the NPR trivia show.

Today’s spotlight is Anna Espinoza!

Voice part: Alto; Board Secretary
Live, work, study: I live in Franklin Park, NJ, and work in Somerset, NJ at Rutgers Preparatory School, where I teach Lower School Choir and General Music, and co-teach Middle School Choir with Colin! I graduated from Rutgers MGSA in 2017 and I'm delighted to be singing with many other Rutgers grads in this concert.
Fav foods: My absolute favorite food is sushi, and my favorite restaurant is Sushi Palace because it has an all-you-can-eat menu.
Hobbies: I love crafting with my cricut, reading, travelling, and being outdoors, especially in the summer and fall.
Fun fact: I just got engaged to my partner, Fabian, in March 🙂

Today’s spotlight is KK Jackson!

Voice part: Bass/Baritone
Live, work, study: Live in Freehold, NJ. Works at the Director of Vocal Music at Carteret High School, NJ Based Real Estate Agent, Masters of Education Candidate (Kean University), Bachelor of Music (Mason Gross School of the Arts)
Fav foods: Love a great home cooked meal. If I had to choose, it would be baked mac and cheese. Tres Leche wins for dessert by far!
Pets: My furbaby is TITO (aka "Ti" "Do") and he is a JackChi.
Hobbies: Golf
Fun fact: I love to travel and experience different cultures and cuisines. Also secretly a huge fan of realty TV shows!

Fav Music: Good music! Seriously, I love anything that uses melody, harmony and rhythm in a way that creates a sound experience as a guided emotional journey. Could be country, choral, pop, electronic, opera, ambient… anything.
Fav Foods: Indian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Mexican
Hobbies: Skiing, Curling, Mountain Biking, Scuba Diving, Wingsuit Skydiving
Fun fact: I’ve made over 2000 skydives over the past 13 years.
