What’s the point of building a castle if there’s no one inside to share its warmth? The truth is, when the money stops flowing, so does the crowd and that’s when you realize attention was never affection, just noise around the shine.

I remember years back, during the era of artists like PUPA Bajah, Alonzo, Daddy Rhymes, and Vida, M2, and many others that every artist wanted to associate with them.

They were the talk of the time. Now, they’re no longer in the spotlight and most of them are going through hard times.

How many people do you see talking about them? How many artists, influencers, or bloggers are posting about them? Where are the people who guided their every step? Where are the fanbases that used to hype them up?

This is how you come to realize that fame is not permanent. Young artists in the spotlight today should study this as a key lesson to avoid falling into the same cycle.

Everything they’re enjoying now is temporary. Once their time is over, they’ll soon be forgotten, and the same fans will move on to shape the next wave.

Wise up and use your fame wisely. There’s nothing to be proud of in arrogance. A hint to the wise is quite sufficient.
