Artist Jay Bashant

Artist Jay Bashant I have worked mostly in glass for the past 40 years. All site specific architectural commission work which is a blessing and a curse. Every day is a school day…

Love when my artist friends comment that nobody paints like I do!

Between a fishing trip and a construction project I haven’t painted in a few weeks. This acrylic on canvas was a gift for my mother in law. I am just started a new one that is featuring an egret in flight… as a glass artist I have carved many hundreds of herons, cranes and egrets in glass over the decades. My bread and butter… I’m including an old glass pic.
