MEMORIAL DAY 15K RACE-
BY THE GRACE OF GOD!! Last minute decision.
I kinda screwed this one up. Entered after midnight last night and had to be up before 5am. Got 4.5 hours sleep. NOT GOOD! I think I let my ego push me into doing this. Today should be a rest day. I’m in a taper week for 2 upcoming HALF MARATHONS Sat & Sun next weekend. I was dragging ass during this run and moving slower than I hoped so I just had fun with it. Also running in light rain the entire race. Still I managed to snag 2nd place in my age group and #48 overall. I’m just grateful for all who fought and died so I could have the privilege of getting to run in this awesome country!!! God bless the USA. I love you, Jesus. Thank you for my health, my sobriety, and my discipline.

Had such a blessed day yesterday. Incredible weather, crystal clear, water, visibility, and insane animal interactions. Diving with my best friend . Incredible captain on boat. I needed to reconnect with the Ocean, my passion and purpose.

First run ever in the running shoes. I set a PR for fastest 6 miles I’ve ever ran. They are so wild! Lightest shoe I think I’ve ever ran in. Feels like I’m running in socks but with the cushion and carbon plating of a super shoe. Pretty insane. Still trippin on no laces. Wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first but I really love the feel, fit, & look.

IN PROGRESS- I just did a 2 day session on this leg sleeve. I was able to get some new features added on and somewhat developed. I should get the rest all laid out in the next upcoming session. I’m really loving this one. My next plans are super exciting and will pull it all together. The and combo on the inner thigh are especially cool to me. I can’t wait to bring it to life. Also my brain and eyeballs went on strike after the 2 and all the scales.
