Hi Friends of the Mountain Playhouse...
I am running into a major block in auditions for COME FROM AWAY.
Seems everybody and their mother-in-law is going on vacation during July or early August. As a result, we don't have enough people auditioning.
I assumed we would have a better turnout, given the nature of this remarkable musical, so I originally called for the audition request cutoff by Monday (6/8) at 5pm. Even though I changed that to Wednesday (6/10), audition reservations have slowed - which tells me most people didn't see the adjustment.
I'm afraid I need more brains on this. I don't know that many local performers.
I can also make arrangements to see folks AFTER this weekend, if needed.
I've attached a rehearsal schedule which outlines all POSSIBLE rehearsal blocks, but of course, we won't use them all. Times may change and not everyone will need to be at every rehearsal.
