Unfortunately, due to unsafe weather conditions, the 21st annual Aquarium Run is cancelled. In the event of inclement weather requiring cancellation of the event, registration fees are considered tax-deductible donations. Donation acknowledgment letters are available upon request. We appreciate everyone who worked hard to make today happen, and we hope to see you next time.

The 21st Annual Oklahoma Aquarium Run is happening THIS SATURDAY, June 6th, and registration closes TOMORROW, June 5th at 5:00 PM!

Whether you're racing for a personal best or enjoying the Fun Run with family and friends, this is your chance to support conservation while enjoying one of Oklahoma's most scenic race courses along the Arkansas River.

Our education animals are so excited for campers to arrive at summer camp at OKAQ that they’ve started leaking exclusive camp merch. We left the room for two minutes and found these "secret" photos of the camp t-shirts on the camera roll!

We have to admit, the animals have great taste. 🏕️✨

Welcome to Marvels and Mysteries: 🦞 Caribbean spiny lobsters.

These guys are found throughout the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, and the western Atlantic Ocean. But their favorite neighborhoods aren't just open water. They rely on coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove forests for food, shelter, and protection throughout their lives.

🌱 Fun fact: Young lobsters often spend their early years hidden in mangroves and seagrass before moving to offshore reefs as adults.

Every healthy coastal habitat plays a role in helping these amazing animals survive.

🦞 From coral reefs to seagrass meadows, Caribbean spiny lobsters call some of the ocean's most important habitats home.

These incredible crustaceans are found throughout the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and western Atlantic Ocean, where warm coastal waters provide everything they need to thrive. Young lobsters begin life tucked away in mangrove forests and seagrass beds before making their way to reefs as adults.
