So sorry everyone!!! I incorrectly posted that today is a legal light day for all of Michigan. I deleted that post. Here is the scoop. Statewide Michigan law does not automatically classify Juneteenth as a "national holiday" for a legal light day. Under current Michigan regulations, the state forces municipalities to permit legal light days statewide only around Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day. However, many individual cities have passed local ordinances to legally permit fireworks on Juneteenth (June 19th) Sorry for the misinformation. Check your local ordinances.
