Give for Good Louisville, run by the Communication Foundation of Louisville, is a citywide 24-hour giving blitz on September 10, 2026, with early giving opening on September 7th, and late giving continuing into September 11!

One of the best parts of barbershop is how quickly music can bring people together.

During Guest Night, a literal pick-up quartet, *Second Go Around*, came together on the spot to demonstrate the barbershop polecat classic "Sweet & Lovely" for our guests. Not too shabby for a quartet assembled that very evening!

Thanks to these singers for sharing a little taste of four-part harmony and helping showcase what makes barbershop singing so much fun. Enjoy this clip from a memorable night of music, fellowship, and ringing chords.

Guest Night wouldn't be complete without a great tag!

This group took on *That's Life*, taught by our Artistic Director, Drew Wheaton, and had a blast bringing the harmony to life. Whether it was your first tag or your hundredth, there's something special about gathering around and creating music together.

One of the highlights from Guest Night was learning and singing the tag to "Somewhere She's All Alone", taught by Great River Voices' Bass Section Leader and Board VP of Marketing & PR, Nico Botones.

Thanks to everyone who jumped in, found a part, and helped make some beautiful harmony together. We love sharing tags because they bring singers of all experience levels together in just a few minutes of music-making.

What a wonderful Guest Night!

The evening's schedule was packed with singing, tag learning, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to get to know one another. We loved sharing our music and giving our guests a glimpse into what Great River Voices is all about. From ringing chords to great conversations, it was a night full of harmony, camaraderie, and fun.

We were also excited to officially welcome our newest member, Caroline, by presenting her with her Great River Voices name tag and chorus shirt. We're thrilled to have her singing with us!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope you had as much fun as we did. If you couldn't make it, or if you'd like to come back for more, you're always welcome to visit us during one of our regular rehearsal nights. Learn more about who we are and when we meet at our website.

What an incredible afternoon! 🎬🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us for *From Screen to Sound*. We are so grateful for the support of our audience, volunteers, friends, family, and community who helped make this show such a memorable experience.

A special thank you to our chapter quartets and all of the groups who shared their talent and energy with us on stage. Special thanks to our featured quartet Smoke Ring for putting such a wonderful, masterclass performance. We are proud to make music alongside you and grateful that you helped bring our stories to life through song.

And thank you to Right Ascension Studio for once again capturing the day so beautifully through your photography. We are excited to share some of those memories with you here.
