AM Ford is helping in two very practical ways that will make a real difference on the day of the event. They are providing water for the celebration and will also be hosting one of the free childrenโ€™s booths in the Family Americana Arcade.

That kind of hands-on support means so much as we work to create a fun, welcoming day for families, children, volunteers, and everyone coming out to be part of this county-wide celebration.

One of the things that makes the Ashtabula County's Fourth of July Festival - Celebrating America's Semiquincentennial Festival so unique is that you can experience history, not just read about it.

Throughout the day, Jefferson Depot Village will be open for visitors to explore and enjoy. Step inside historic buildings and discover what life was like in an earlier America.

The library has been with us since the very beginning of this effort, more than three years ago, and that kind of steady support means a great deal.

As weโ€™ve worked on planning this celebration, one thing that keeps coming up is how important it is to preserve and share our stories. Thatโ€™s something the Ashtabula County District Library does every day.

Libraries are more than books. They are places where people learn, discover local history, explore new ideas, and connect with their community.

The Family Americana Arcade is one of those areas that really shows what can happen when people come together.

Local organizations, churches, businesses, and volunteers are all stepping in to help create games, activities, contests, crafts, and family fun for July 4.

One of the unique pieces of history you'll find along the Walk of Time is a 1912 ๐™ˆ๐™ค๐™™๐™š๐™ก ๐™ This is one youโ€™ll want to stop and see.

Jody Bancroft will be bringing his 1912 Model T to the Walk of Time on July 4 - and it has a pretty special Ashtabula County connection.

This Model T is believed to have been the first car used in advertising for the first Ford dealership in Conneaut, Ohio.

More than 100 years later, itโ€™s still helping tell the story of how transportation changed everyday life in America.
