We are getting everything packed up to take to Harpersfield Bridge for the America 250 Picnic in the Bridge on Saturday. It's going to be a great time with food, wine tasting, basket auction, possibly a bunch of big flower baskets to be auctioned and more.

The festival office will be closed this week. Come visit us in the log cabin at the Ashtabula County Fair. We have Ashtabula County history displays, Covered Bridge Festival shirts and Picnic in the Harpersfield Bridge tickets available.

Netcher Road Bridge is hosted by the Ashtabula County Humane Society during the covered bridge festival on October 10th and 11th. They will be serving walking tacos, selling tickets for a homemade quilt, will have baked goods, crafts, and Humane society shirts for sale. Depending on weather they may have some dogs there.

Caine Road Bridge will be hosted by the first Congregational United Church of Christ during the covered bridge festival on October 10th and 11th. They will have a quilt raffle, an art raffle, a bake sale and an area set up for taking pictures with the bridge. They will also have free items to hand out.

During the covered bridge festival on October 10th and 11th Liberty Street, Covered Bridge will be hosted by Helping Hands Farm Animal Rescue. They will be raising money to help care for farm animals and find them a forever home. Food and drink donations from Gray's Auto Sales and Ashtabula and Geneva Giant Eagle will be sold to help support the rescue. There will be a 50/50, a duck pond game, and cowboy hats to help raise funds. By the bridge entrance. There will be displays and props for a photo op with the shortest covered bridge in America.
