Our first Pirate Swashbuckling Spotlight for the show is...

Venus O’Hara is a Jefferson City native, but has moved to St. Louis to fulfill her creative dreams. A previous Mid-MO Pride Queen, she has also been awarded many accolades in the America Pageant system being a former Miss Gay City of Columbia, Miss Gay Mid-MO, and currently Miss Gay Metropolitan. When she’s not competing, she loves to perform and direct theatrical productions all over the state.

Just announced! The Gettin' B***y Burlesque & Variety Show hosted by Remi Dee ft. Glinda Glitterstorm, Kiya, Venus O'Hara and Roxxy MissBehavin' is about to dock in your port! Catch a glimpse of this cheeky bit of fun happening at Bones In The Alley on Aug 28th. Doors open at 6pm to start dinner service and the wiggles, jiggles and giggles start at 8pm sharp!

The next community event is coming up! July 17th at Bones in the Alley and is hosted by RPDR’s The Widow Von’Du featuring Remi Dee who produces our burlesque shows there… all in honor of Cindy’s Birthday! Cindy brought the drag and burlesque series to Bones & Jeff City! She also helped us tremendously with Pridefest so come celebrate Cindy for a night at Bones for a lil Pride after Pride!

As we are processing your feedback and comments about JCP26… we have two questions to ask:

1. Where do you think we should consider hosting Pride next year? The same place? Somewhere else?

2. Do you think it’s mandatory to host Pridefest in Pride month? Or is it important to just have Pride regardless what month we can make it work?
