Field Violins (as a business) has officially ceased to function as a business in Jefferson City, Mo. I have “retired” as a business operator and now continue to work with stringed instruments like I began in 1987 – as a hobbyist.

BIG CHANGES AT FIELD VIOLINS!!

After more than 20 years of doing instrument repairs, sales and service from his shop in Jefferson City, Jerry Field, owner of Field Violins has sold the business to long-time shop assistant, and current Shop Manager, Izzak Green.

Jerry will continue to be in the shop regularly helping out as needed with repairs, but giving more attention to making new violins,

The shop will continue to be at 520 Ellis Blvd Unit O. We look forward to providing continued quality service in the repair shop, and to offering a good selection of quality instruments and accessories in the retail section.

Come by soon to congratulate Izzak and to say hello to the old guy (that would be me!!!)

Beginning the last week of this month……WE WILL BE CLOSED ON ALL MONDAYS. The new schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday…..the new hours be — 10-6 Tuesday - Friday….and 9-3 on Saturday.
