It's a bit late, but The Cabaret Theatre would like to thank all who came to see the Gatsby Z event in January. It was a full house at the Moose in Irwin and most audience members took the time to critique the new musical. Gene and John (composer and book writer & Lyricist) said that their remarks were a great resource in helping them with the rewrite in preparation for the next step which is production. Thanks to all who attended the Premiere Read/Sing-Through of "Gatsby Z"--the producers, the performers, and the audience. It was a very successful evening. The new "baby" took its first steps and we hope will now walk toward its first full production.

It's bittersweet to say that the read/sing through of "Gatsby Z" is sold out...but it is. We wish we could accommodate more, but we are at capacity. You may take a chance that cancellations will occur and stop by the Moose in Irwin at near 7:00 PM or so, but we cannot guarantee that you will get in. Thanks to all who are coming. It only remains for us to give you the best possible reading and for you to give us your review.

Seen through the eyes of F.Scott's wife, Zelda, this will be the very first time anyone besides the playwright and composer will have a chance to experience this music and story. And to critique it in preparation for its next step--a full production.
