Christmas in the Canefield

We had a test run of the light show side tonight, Speakers and lights worked, 2 strings of lights to replace and it will be good enough to run. A few more hours and it will be on to the picture side,
That side takes a while to do.
A few new ideas for this year, and hopefully I will have time to do them.
Special thanks to my son, David Jr. and Jacob Lopez ,for the help picking up the 21’ mega trees.
I look forward to seeing the Kids after Thanksgiving

Christmas repairs and set up have begun. Now we just need a good cold front to slow the grass from growing before the picture side goes up. That, and work needs to slow down a tad so I can get it all up. But more importantly, the man that mentored me and inspired me to do a show, David Landry, is putting his up after 2 years of spoiling his wife and living life. I cannot wait to see his show, Ragin Cajun Red Neck Christmas Light Display. About 2 miles east of my house, on the Hwy 90 service road, by Landrys Seafood in Jeanerette.

We’re looking forward to seeing you guys this season!

A huge thank you to all that came to visit this year.
A special thank you to those that donated, every dollar goes to more lights and props for next year.
A small request, anyone throwing out indoor trees, please consider donating them , we have a few ideas for next year.
The smiles from the kids makes this work worth every minute
Kind of sad when the babies are crying because they don’t want to leave but it tells me we did a good job
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all , and we look forward to seeing you next year
PS… my good friend and inspiration, plans to do his show next year and I can’t wait to see it
