The Jasper Strassenfest Committee is excited to announce that a winner has come forward to claim the Half Pot prize!
After confirmation that the ticket was valid, committee members presented the $75,085 check to the winner, a man from Jasper who wishes to remain anonymous.
The winner shared that after repeatedly checking to be sure his number was indeed the winning one, he called the Jasper Chamber to confirm on Friday afternoon. Rather than purchasing his usual 50 tickets for $40, he opted to buy 150 for $100 online this year, saying he was impressed with how quick and easy it was. He has plans to celebrate by picking up the check for some family dinners and looks forward to giving back, stating that he will be a half pot supporter for many years to come!
