As we start back classes this week we are featuring our MSPAC staff so you can get to know us!

Today’s MSPAC spotlight features John David Harrell. John David has been with us for the last five years as one of our most valued tumbling instructors.

John David recently graduated from UAB earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. At UAB, he received the Outstanding Performance in Biochemistry Award and was awarded the Presidential Merit Scholarship. He was accepted into Alabama’s Rural Medical Scholars Program to pursue his dream of becoming a medical physician.

John David loves working with children and enjoys helping them reach their full athletic potential by becoming stronger and more confident!

As we get ready to start our fall classes today August 10th, we have been featuring our instructors and staff so that you can get to know us. Today we are featuring our Owner/Director Christy Hand-Barger (aka, Ms Christy)!!!
An Alabama graduate with a degree in English and Dance; Christy has over 48 years of dance experience. Christy is a Certified Dance Instructor with Giordano Dance Chicago. She has also worked with numerous top choreographers from Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, St. Louis and Atlanta. The best parts of being a dance instructor are helping to guide and teach past, present and future generations of dancers. I’ve also made life long friendships that were made right here in the studio.

As we get ready to start classes tomorrow August 10th, we are featuring members of our MSPAC instructors and staff. Today we are featuring Lillian Trujillo! Lillian has been at MSPAC as a student for 6 years and as an instructor for 3! Lillian is a competitive dancer, winning platinum awards, best over all and first in her division.
Chosen from hundreds of students, she also completed the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive in New York City. Be sure to check out her Hip Hop class on Mondays 4:00-5:00 and her AcroJazz class on Wednesdays 3:30-4:30. We are so excited to have Lillian as part of our MSPAC family!!!

As we get ready to start our fall classes on Monday August 10th we are taking some time to feature members of our MSPAC Family! Today we are featuring Kem Muncher, Loretta Dutton and Judy Bailey! With so many years of experience in the operational side of dance and gymnastics between them, they are an integral part of making the studio and gym run smoothly! We are so happy to have them as part of our MSPAC family!

As we gear up for fall classes the week of August 10th, we wanted to start the countdown by introducing our instructors! Today we are featuring Kyle Dutton!

As our Director of Gym Operations, Kyle has over 38 years of experience in Tumbling. Most of those years under our founder Marilyn Sanders of which our business still bears her name. Kyle has also spent over 20 years as an educator and administrator in the Walker County School system. Kyle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to MSPAC.

As we gear up for fall classes the week of August 10th, we wanted to start the countdown by introducing our instructors! Today we are featuring Haley Greatorex Hunt!

Haley has been an instructor with us at MSPAC for the last 6 years. Haley has 23 years of dance experience through MSPAC, Beverly's Dance Academy, North Jefferson Academy of Dance and Westwood Ballet. She received a scholarship from Wallace state where she majored in Dance Education and danced under the influence of Brooke Desnoes. Haley is also the founder of the ballet production From Genesis to the Cross, a production that showcases her love for dance and ministry. She enjoys continuing this role as a teacher and mentor to the next generation of dancers.

As we gear up for fall classes August 10th, we wanted to start the countdown by introducing our instructors! Today we are featuring Abby McCollough Banks!

Abby has been with MSPAC for the last 8 years as one of our most valued tumbling/cheer/dance instructors.

I enjoy teaching alongside some of the best instructors, who I’ve personally learned from myself! The environment is truly the best & I love being apart of MSPAC!!!

I love being able to help each student see their potential as well as, teach them safety, clean technique & confidence!

Seeing all of the tumblers and dancers excel with new accomplishments is my favorite part!!
