I keep hearing sad news of more people hurting silently in their pretty houses and beautifully sequenced instagram pages. I’ve been a stay at home mother for now 3 years and have moved 4 times in 2 years. I have seen the darkness of loneliness and hopelessness try to creep in and linger in me and many other moms around me. For all those suffering silently, you’re not alone. Please reach out your hand for help. Someone WILL take hold of it. For those not, please reach your hand out to someone. Facebook and Instagram don’t really count. They are a fake version of a real connection. It can be as simple as saying hello as you make your way down a hallway. Or holding the door for a Mom as she carries groceries and crying toddlers. Little things matter. Let’s do our best to be a world that ends this horrible idea that life is not worth living. @ West Lafayette, Indiana

What photo do you keep as the background of your phone or computer? Is it the one where you’re prim and skinny or the one where your genuinely happy? One day when I look back at my photos as an old woman, I don’t want to find only forced weight loss and smiles. I want to find me in my favorite shirt, mom jeans, no make up, and my happy place. — I’d love to know what you think. How do you feel in front of the camera? If you could have any photo shoot (anything under the sun) what would like to do? — For me, I am getting more confident in front of the camera. Definitely have things that I wish I could fix but not everything is fixable, and I’m learning to be ok with that. My all time dream is to be photographed with my husband in odd, beautiful places around the globe. Like finding a detailed corner in the Taj Mahal or in a vine covered space in the middle of Italy. ✨
