✨ ART SHOW CALL FOR ENTRIES: NOW OPEN ✨ 2026 Theme: Petals, Pollen & Purpose

From the hum of a bee to the flash of a hummingbird's wings, pollinators shape the landscapes we call home. This year's art exhibition celebrates pollination! Which means artwork should showcase the intricate relationships between native plants and the wildlife that pollinates them throughout the Ohio River Valley.

Artists are invited to explore the beauty, complexity, and conservation stories surrounding these species and the ecosystems they sustain.

Great opportunity

Artists and photographers: Don't forget that the last day to submit your work to the Art & Photo Contest for durable hard cards is July 31!

This contest is for Indiana residents of all ages. Five artists’ submissions will be chosen for the background artwork of the hard card licenses that will be available by early 2027. Participants can submit up to two (2) nature-themed artworks via email (email and guidelines in link below). This year’s categories include Deer, Wild Turkey, Fish, Wildlife (Other), and Indiana Landscapes.

We've received some great entries so far and can't wait to see the rest. Tag your artsy fam and besties to make sure they get the memo!

Our July meeting was so much fun!

We left our usual Jasper meeting place and met at Traditional Arts Today to learn about their facility and the artwork they sell.

We were happy to share the space and accept their many generosities like their home made bread and a fun crystal craft!

If you haven’t made it out there, they have a BEAUTIFUL store front and public spaces to hang out, create, and mingle! Please please check them out on your next trip through Ferdinand!
