Good Morning Everyone,

The 1st card we made at my June Technique Tuesday Class featured the beautiful 167985 BERRY BOTANICAL VELLUM 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. This was the Product of the Month for May and is still available. I demonstrated how to glue down the vellum so you cannot see the glue through the paper. The nicest thing about this vellum is that it is pretty thick and easy to work with. We used the 159183 STYLISH SHAPES DIES to cut out the sentiment and used the 167857 SENDING SALUTATIONS PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH) for the words.

Good Morning Everyone,

The last card we made at my June Class featured the 167657 BLOOM BOUTIQUE SUITE COLLECTION (ENGLISH). Take a closer look at all the goodies in this Suite. Did you notice the pink leaves? I cut them out using the 167784 SUNSET SHIMMER VELLUM 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) SPECIALTY PAPER. This vellum is so thick and shimmery, so it adds just the right amount of bling to this card.

Good Morning Everyone,

Here is a cute birthday card we made at my class that can be given to a man or woman. Those are always nice to have on hand. I wanted to frame the front using the 167586 PHRASES & FRAMES DIES. This largest frame just fits the front of this card. This is an Impressions die and to get this puffier look, you need to use the 167767 IMPRESSIONS PLATE. So, what you do is cut out the frame, keep the paper in the die and turn it over so the cut side is up. Use only the bottom platform and put the die on that layer, spritz it with 91% alcohol just a little and put the Impressions plate on top and then the #4 gray plate and run it through the machine again. Now the frame is not so flat. You can use water in your spritzer, but the alcohol dries quickly.

For the background, we used the 167498 DELICATE DREAMS 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. This paper is beautiful. For the banner background, we used the 165264 PARTY BANNERS DIES. These dies are a must have if you are planning a party because the largest die is 7" x 5 3/8" in size and comes in 20 dies going down in size from there. These also come in a bundle with letters. Do you like the blue color? That is the new In Color 167687 HYDRANGEA HUE 8-1/2" X 11" CARDSTOCK and 167677

Reminder: The Scam Presentation is This Sunday, the 14th at 11:00 am at Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church.

Have you ever received that phone call from "Your Bank", or so they say, to tell you there is a problem with your account?
Have you ever received an email saying your account will be closing in 24 hours so "Click On This Link" to stop that from happening?
Have you ever received a call from someone that said your grandchild is in trouble and send money to them Now?

These are a few common scams that are out there and if you don't know what to watch for, you can get caught in this scam and be out a lot of money or get yourself in trouble.
Jeff Kersten, an Outreach Specialist from the State of Wisconsin, will be doing a presentation on "Common Scams & Fraud".

Here is the last card we made at my Beginner Class last week. The pictures don't do this paper justice. It has an iridescent look to it showing the shimmery sunset. It is absolutely beautiful. For this card, we used the 167780 SUNSET COAST DIES to cut out the lighthouse. The paper was the 167773 SCENIC COAST 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and is so popular, it is unavailable and won't be available until the week of June 22nd. Go to my site to order this paper and enter your email in the cart. SU will notify you when it comes back into stock. The sentiment is from the 167014 PRAYERS & PROMISES PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH) and a must have when you don't know the right words to say. I used the 167646 SCALLOPED BLOOMS DIES to cut out the front sentiment. I finished it off with the 162842 Last Chance IRIDESCENT FOIL GEMS.
