El-Ra Bowl Janesville Bowling Alley where family and friends can come together in Janesville. The name comes from the original owners first names: ELmer, RAy, and BOb.
(591)

El-Ra Bowl is a family business that has been serving Janesville and Rock County since 1959. Bob Brose's family still operates the bowl today. Conveniently located on Center Avenue, just down the street from Pick-n-Save. El-Ra Bowl has a large, well lit parking lot. Sixteen lanes with every modern convenience you would expect: auto scoring, full service Pro Shop, cocktail lounge, full grill menu, Buchiz Pizza, and much more. Talk about modern conveniences, El-Ra Bowl is the only bowl in the area with automatic bumpers. No need to have 2 lanes with only 2 or 3 people. The bumpers go up and down for each person however you want, YOU PROGRAM IT. We offer many different bowling experiences for everyone in our community. Leagues range from Youth Bowling to our new 55+ league and everything in between. Birthday parties, company outings, graduations, ect... Let us know what kind of event you need help with. Need to raise funds??? We can help with a bowling fundraiser. Open bowling, glow bowling, school groups, or just stop in for a sandwich. EL-RA HAS SOMETHING FOR YOU!

🎳 BUMP N BOWL IS BACK! 🎳
Ages 4–7 • Saturday Mornings at 9:30AM

Looking for a fun way to introduce your little one to bowling? Bump N Bowl is designed specifically for young bowlers who are ready to learn the basics, have fun, and start building their confidence on the lanes!

Each Saturday, our bowlers will bowl one game with bumpers while our coaches teach the fundamentals of bowling, including:

🎳 How to hold and deliver a bowling ball
🎯 What to aim at
👣 Where to stand on the approach
👟 How to find the right shoe size
🎳 How to choose the right bowling ball
💥 What a strike is
🎯 What a spare is
…and plenty of other fun bowling basics!

⭐ And we’re making it extra fun!
Each week, we’ll keep track of the bowlers’ high games on a special Bump N Bowl High Game Board. Bowlers will add a sticker each week as they work toward their personal best!

🏆 At the end of the season:
Every bowler will receive their very own full-size bowling pin, and we’ll celebrate with a special Donuts & Juice Day! 🍩🥤

📅 Starts October 3
📆 8-week program
⏰ Saturdays at 9:30 AM
💰 Only $3.50 per week!

One requirement: Bowlers need to be able to bowl an entire game on their own without using a ball ramp. Most bowlers are typically around 4 or 5 years old when they’re ready to participate.
