El-Ra Bowl will be closed Sunday and Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

We thank and remember those who gave everything for our freedom this Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸

If you’re looking to honor the holiday locally:

* The Janesville Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will take place Monday at 11 AM in downtown Janesville.
* Beloit will also host a Memorial Day parade Monday beginning at 9 AM, starting on Blackhawk Blvd and ending on East Grand Avenue.

Another great league season is in the books at El-Ra Bowl, and we want to send a huge thank you to all of our league bowlers for making this year such a great one on the lanes.

This season gave us plenty to celebrate, including 20 different individuals rolling perfect 300 games in league play. Of those 20, one belonged to Jenny Wonders, the only woman to roll a perfect game this season.

Crystal Edwards led the way for the women with the high series of 771, while Haiden Holmes, one of our youth bowlers, rolled the highest series in the building this season with an incredible 853. Andrea Brose finished with the highest women’s average at 226, and Ethan Jones led the men with an impressive 244 average for the season.

A couple fun stats from the year: the highest scoring lanes in the house this season were lanes 1–4, while lanes 7 and 8 were the lowest scoring pair in the building… so we’ll be accepting donations for gasoline and matches this offseason. 😂

Thank you again to all of our league bowlers for another great season and for being such a big part of the El-Ra Bowl family. We appreciate your support, your competition, and the atmosphere you bring to the center every week.

We look forward to seeing many of you around the center this summer—and if not, we’ll see you back on the lanes next fall!

Huge congratulations to Jordan Holmes on winning our In-House Classic League Bowler Tournament!

Jordan edged out Austin Courtney by just one pin in the final match of the stepladder to claim the title, the trophy, and $655.

Thank you to everyone who came out and competed, and thank you to all of our league bowlers for being such a big part of the El-Ra Bowl family. We’re proud to offer events like this for our bowlers and look forward to keeping them going for years to come.

We kicked things off with our El-Ra League Bowler Scratch Tournament… now it’s time for the Handicap Tournament!

This event is open to all full-time El-Ra league bowlers, and with handicap leveling the playing field, every average has a shot to compete.

These tournaments are just one of the perks of being part of a league here at El-Ra Bowl, and we’re excited to keep them going season after season.
