🍹🌽 WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🌽🍹

Last night’s A-Maze-ing Margaritas was the PERFECT way to kick off our season at Sunny Pointe! ☀️💃

Was it a tad warm? Yep. 😅 But you won’t hear a single complaint from us — the sun was shining, the band was playing, drinks were pouring, bellies were full, and loud laughter could be heard coming from all through the corn maze! And that right there is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. Seeing the farm full of people laughing, eating, drinking, dancing and making memories made every late night and long day getting ready completely worth it!

And we couldn’t have done it without the amazing people who helped make the night so special:

🌽🍹 YES, THE KIDS CAN COME TONIGHT! 🍹🌽

We’ve had several people ask, so here’s the scoop — tonight’s A-Maze-ing Margarita event IS kid-friendly… with responsible adult supervision. 😜

And by “responsible,” we mean please don’t send your kiddos into the corn maze alone while you hang out at the Sunny Saloon. 😂🌽🍹 Kids must be accompanied and supervised by an adult while in the maze.

We’ll have several kid-friendly activities to keep them entertained, plenty of food, live music and lots of room to enjoy the farm! Kids 12 & under are just $10.

🌽 A Little Corn Maze Reality Check… 🌽

We want to be upfront with everyone coming to Sunny Pointe this year: our maze isn’t quite the picture-perfect maze we originally envisioned. And while that’s a little hard for us to admit, Mother Nature definitely had other plans.

The storms knocked down huge sections of the maze, and the seemingly endless rain made it nearly impossible to get equipment into the field to clean up the paths. Meanwhile, our corn apparently decided this was its year to SHINE and grew to nearly 12 feet tall! 🌽😳

This week, we were finally able to get back in, mow, and forge new paths through the maze. The good news? We have a maze! 🙌 The not-so-good news? Those newly cleared paths are still littered in places with corn stalks, husks and some stubborn roots.

We are working day and night to clean up as much as we possibly can, but this is truly back-breaking work that simply can’t be finished overnight. So when you visit, we just ask for a little patience, a little grace…and that you watch your footing while making your way through the maze. ❤️

And can we give Jared a little extra credit? The man is allergic to pretty much everything green and somehow married a woman who decided owning a corn maze sounded like a great idea. 😂 He’s been out here in long sleeves in the August heat and humidity, mowing, clearing and helping me bring this crazy dream of ours to life.

If that isn’t love, I’m not sure what is. ❤️🌽

It may not be the maze we originally pictured for this year, but it’s ours — storms, mud, downed corn, rerouted paths and all. And we cannot wait to welcome you into it.

Just wear good shoes…and maybe say a little prayer for Jared. 😂🌽❤️
