as a place to create and showcase my original artwork and prints. Over the past 13 years I have regularly shown my paintings at regional and national galleries and competitions, including Women Create - Jamestown NY, Maryland Federation of Art - Annapolis MD, and Chautauqua Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art - Chautauqua N.Y. I am thrilled to now have a gallery space to call my own. In addition

to my own work, I am excited to showcase several other incredible artists, all of whom currently reside in, or have ties to Chautauqua County.

August featured frame đź–Ľ

This month we're highlighting a very old, and large, painting on silk.

Our client wanted this piece stretched onto stretcher bars, but due to its age, fragility, and some tears, we quickly realized that extra steps would be needed to realize this vision.

We basted the silk painting onto black cotton to increase its strength. After the silk painting was secure, we built 2" deep stretcher bars and carefully secured the cotton onto the stretcher.

This fall, Pearl City Clay House will host a solo art show for artist Kenneth Labuskes!

Ken's piece "Earth Goddess", seen below, recieved the award of best in show for ArtScape Jamestown 2025! To see this piece in person, and many more of his amazing pieces, make sure to check out his show that will be on display at Pearl City Clay House!
