It's September! We've gotten into the swing of things at school, and today, we had our informational meeting about the fall play. Auditions are today, tomorrow, and Wednesday with a cast list coming soon!

This picture shows all the kids who came out for the meeting today. It was a sea of old and new faces, and we are ready to get this thing going again!

Stay tuned for updates. :)

It’s late, but we are happy because tonight, the Greeneview Drama Club started what we hope will be a long-standing tradition. Tonight, the directors had the pleasure of taking our seniors (both recently graduated and upcoming) who helped us this past week at our middle school theater camp to Columbus for the evening. We had dinner together at Olive Garden and then went on to see Finding Neverland at the Ohio Theatre.

We loved getting to celebrate these dynamic human beings and to spend some time laughing and talking with them. And we so enjoyed being in the Ohio Theatre, which is inspiring in and of itself, but seeing a show that breaks down what makes theater magical was just the icing on the cake.

We are thankful to have more time with a handful of this group, but we will sincerely miss the recent grads next year. Their leadership, talent, and kindness are second to none.

We are so thankful for this group of people. We love our Drama Club.

IT'S ALMOST SUMMER!! ☀️☀️

Have you thought about how you're going to keep your middle schooler active this summer? Are you looking to build their confidence, to help them make friends, to encourage them to try something new? Greeneview's Theater Camp might be for you.

Greeneview Drama Club would like to say Happy Mother's Day to the one who got most of us into theater to begin with, Mama Benton!!

All of us (and I literally mean all of us - this is just 14 of many minutes of footage) thank you for the support you've shown to each one of us on the daily. You've believed in this program and these students from the beginning, and you make school feel like home.

We love you, Mrs. Benton! Thank you, Mrs. Benton.

Again, many thanks to Kevin Combs for this video. It was our gift to Mrs. Benton at the end of the fall play this past year after she retired from teaching.
