Off Roading in the new Boot with the man, the myth, and certainly the legend, Jim Glickenhaus. 🤟🏼

For those of you who are unaware of , it is a NY/CT based car manufacturer and race team who specializes explicitly in creating race winning endurance vehicles which can be driven to the track, race, then be driven home. Wondering why we’re off-road? The Glickenhaus Boot was created to race in the Baja 1000, a thousand mile race through the hills and deserts of Mexico. It’s based on Steve Mcqueens Baja Boot but with a corvette LT4 in the back pumping out 650HP. It raced in the 2020 Baja 1000 & won in its class against the 2020 Ford Bronco (which had to be pushed across the finish line whereas the glickenhaus Boot was driven back).

Not really into the whole self driving car trend - it’s nice for when you need to look at your phone for directions or to change the song but feels dangerous to be apathetic behind the wheel for the whole journey.

Fun Fact: I used to be a Polaroid Collector and product tester for Originals. The camera is called an sx70, it’s from the 70’s and was designed to fold flat and slip into your suit pocket. Convenient. @ Classic Car Club Manhattan
