Okay, Flamingos…Sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately. I’ve been keeping a secret. 🦩🌙🐦‍⬛

And this may be one of my favorite crazy ideas yet.

We’re turning Paint Night into a MURDER MYSTERY. 🔎🎨💀

Not just a murder mystery.
Not just a paint party.

BOTH. AT THE SAME TIME. 😂

Welcome to Murder at The Pub: An Almost Midnight Mystery — a little Practical Magic inspiration, a little small-town gossip, a mysterious Raven Charm, an Almost Midnight Margarita…and, unfortunately, a murder. 🍹🌙

On Tuesday evening, September 8, while we paint this gorgeous raven, moon, lavender and sparkling margarita, a mystery will unfold right around the paint tables.

You’ll have a character.
You may have secrets.
Clue envelopes will be opened throughout the night.
You’ll question the people around you.
And before we finish our paintings, you’ll have to decide…

WHO DID IT? 🔎

And because I know some of you just broke into a cold sweat at the words “murder mystery” — 😂

NO acting. NO memorizing. NO improv.

Everything you need is provided@ for you. You can be as dramatic—or as completely undramatic—as you want.

I’ll be right where I belong, teaching the painting, while the mystery unfolds around us.

And because we’re doing this at The Pub, I may have worked our three lovely Pub ladies into the story.

Apparently there are some very interesting local legends about those women. 😏

They claim they’re all nonsense.

We’ll see. 😂

🦩 It’s Flamingo Friday.

This week has reminded me that sometimes you don’t need to have the right words.

Sometimes you just need to remember:

When things hurt, make something.
Find your people.
Be kind.
And add more glitter. ✨

So that’s exactly what I’m doing tonight.

I’ve got a table full of Dolly-colored art supplies, absolutely no plan, and a collage waiting to happen.

💕 SECOND TUESDAY SMILES! 💕

The beautiful projects are one thing—but THOSE SMILES! This is exactly why I love our creative nights so much.

Every month, people walk in with different ideas, different styles and sometimes a little “I’m not sure I can do this…” 😂
