A friend recently referred to owls as “the deer of the sky” and now I can’t stop thinking about it every time I glaze another owl mug 🤭 I’ll be in Rutland VT from April 24th to the 26th at - I’m looking forward to seeing you all there 🥰 I’m officially coming out of hibernation

In some quiet moments last week spent in the studio, I was thinking about clay & how it feels like a life force for me… my mind was twisting by the end of it ~ picturing how much pottery has changed the course of my life & the way that my art impacts people around me 🌙 while everything spins around me, somehow pottery always brings me back to the root of myself. I know it’s magic ✨ but it’s a difficult thing to try and attach to words. Anyways - when I picked up my bucket and found this gem underneath - it was a loud reminder of how powerful our thoughts are & how if we are truly paying attention, there are signs all around us (doesn’t it doesn’t it look like a placenta? ) … shortly after this i found myself at the river completely lost in the smell of spring. I’m sure it wasn’t a coincidence that as soon as I made the connection between clay & water being my lifeline I looked down at my feet and found that same sense of life woven into the partially frozen riverbed 🫆🫆🫆🌀🌱🌚🌝 All of this to say ~ follow what you’re passionate about 🙃🤭

I’ve been daydreaming about spring for a few weeks now .. have you too ? Although im not quite ready to come out of hibernation mode, I’m looking forward to the markets & reconnecting with everyone. Until then, I’ll be doing small story sales making space for new pieces of art ✨ This humming bird piece was made in a snow storm 🤭 The humming bird symbolizes adaptability and living in the moment … they can be messengers of good luck and of course resilience 🌸🌸🌸

I thought I’d close the year with a well written instagram post highlighting all of the incredible things that happened during 2025… it was such a whirlwind year, filled with countless markets and interactions with so many beautiful people. I did some of my favorite custom pieces, and feel so grateful to have my work displayed in such a nice variety of stores through Vermont / New England . You’ll have to use your imagination for the rest of what this post could contain ~ because along with all of the outpouring of love and creativity comes an overwhelming amount of burnout 🫣 I’ll be back to work soon ~ and will have open studio hours throughout the rest of the winter until market season starts again.
