SOLD: “Bird-Lover’s Kaleidoscope”
This is a unique painter-on-wood puzzle. It has 369 pieces, is 14 inches in diameter, and has 20 painted, identifiable, bird whimsies. The whimsies and birch branches hold together in one piece which can be assembled first and turned over, giving you a start on the more complex puzzle. I consider this one of my very few masterpieces. This took me over two full weeks to complete.
Price is $1,500 including shipping.

Masochistic project underway. "Love Birds" - pen and ink on wood. I've mace quite a number of kaleidoscope designs before, but this is the first one drawn and painted on wood. This is some doing - first you make the design, test to be sure the angle is correct (which it wasn't on the first go), redo until it works, then pencil it onto the board, then ink it on the board, and then paint. It will take some time to finish the painting, and then I cut it up. Maybe with luck by the end of next week it will be ready for sale.

Stolen Puzzle: A BellArt "Gnarly Oak" puzzle I made for a grandson's birthday has been snatched. If anyone sees it being offered for sale, I'd appreciate a head's up. Was delivered and snatched May 26. Thank you.

People are asking for a pic. Here's the packaging from the first one I made. I didn't photo this as it was a gift. Same packaging but the title was just "Gnarly Oak". Photo of actual puzzle iis below too.

A puzzle in the making! I'm just starting the painting process of my next puzzle which I hope to be a masterpiece. It took a week to do the design, and now I begin the painting process. I thought this would be of interest, and help to show why my puzzles are so expensive.

It will be many days before this is done.
