Edward Waters University stands on the foundation of all that is true about African Methodism. We are because of the sacrifices of those who have gone before us and the investment of those entrusted with the leadership of this noble institution. Through many dangers, toils, and snares, we have come, and we are still becoming.
It was an esteemed privilege for us, the Edward Waters University Concert Choir, to be part of the celebration of an institution that had the foresight, all the way back in 1866, to create an institution for this present moment.
Thanks to the entire 11th Episcopal District Ame Church for allowing to be a part of this auspicious occasion.
