Spoiled Milk and Burnt Cookies

Spoiled Milk and Burnt Cookies Spoiled Milk and Burnt Cookies is an Evangelical Musical created by a Jacksonville High School student for families. Come enjoy this holiday comedy!

Spoiled Milk and Burnt Cookies is an evangelical musical written, directed, and choreographed by Lana Taylor, a ninth-grade student attending Douglas Anderson School of Arts in Jacksonville. Taylor, with support from her parents and family, and church Pastor Paul Steinbach, will costume, script and direct all primary actors and dancing cast members during the production. The play is based on Taylo

r’s story about four little sisters who must be with their grandmother on Christmas Day. They begrudgingly learn about the Christ story and Jesus’ teachings while singing and dancing their way through the their experience with “Grandma”. Yet, they all realize the beautiful message of Christmas and Christ’s birth by the end of the visit. The story of modern day youth and a grandparent’s patient guidance is a comedic performance with poignant messaging for children and adults. All local girls and boys star in the production with speaking and dancing parts in the intricate, yet funny script and story plot. This event is FREE to the public.
