We chose the name Anchor Fest because an anchor is what holds a community steady, keeps it connected, and gives people a place to rally when it matters. Hosted by U.S. Navy retired Chief Petty Officers, this is an ALL HANDS, open to the public event where anyone can show up, set up a tent, and share what they do, whether that is selling products, promoting a service, networking, recruiting, or raising awareness for a cause or nonprofit. We started as CoinCon, but our military community has always been bigger than coins. Veterans and active duty professionals build and lead everything from crafts and apparel to websites, insurance, financial coaching, auto repair, retail, sales, and organizations that serve others. The chain represents the community this event is built on, strong links, shared purpose, and veterans backing veterans. The sailor hat is our reminder that the Navy is one team: regardless of rank, we are all Sailors. And even bigger than that, as veterans from every branch, we stand united in service, anchored in pride, and committed to each other and the country we love.
