🎬 Holler Cast Spotlight: Chris Parker

Careless people create dangerous worlds.

Meet Chris Parker, playing Allen.

📍 From: St. Louis, Missouri
🎭 Role: Allen “the on-screen embodiment of consequences for the actions of careless thinkers.”

Chris was invited to audition through a casting site and quickly connected with the world and structure of Holler.

🧠 Favorite horror films:
"First has to be Skinamarink. I cannot watch that movie again because of the scare factor. It follows one of my favorite pieces of acting advice I once heard from Spencer Tracy - less is more. An incredible indy horror film.
Second is Saint Maud. Religious fervor coupled with mental disorder and how those two perspectives can be applied to our own mortality can yield interesting, if not self-destructive results.
Third is the 2005 House of Wax. Another slasher flick where the victims play a grotesque role even after they run into the big bad. Another movie I couldn't rewatch, which I think is an effective benchmark for a horror film."

🎥 First on-set or acting job?
"I've been lucky to be in a few movies, commercials, voice over projects and stage productions. I am getting this funny feeling that this will be a memorable project, so maybe that's a sign that this will be "the" movie that propels me into the next big thing."

🧟 Zombie survival odds?
“Two weeks… then who knows.”

⚔️ Apocalypse essentials:
A dense stick, filter straws, and a baseball bat

🎵 Theme song:
“Tiptoe Through the Tulips” – Tiny Tim

🎧 Favorite song or artist right now:
"Recently I rediscovered Bush, and their hit song "Comedown" has been living in my head rent free."

😏 Character vs. real life:
“Mostly opposite. I don’t trust unchecked authority.”

🎬 Favorite on-set snacks:
Mini Oreos and sunflower seeds (outside only - “spitting shells indoors is rude”)

🎯 Dream role:
A major villain in a fantasy or sci-fi film

😅 Fun fact:
Once escaped a traffic ticket by convincing a cop he was moments away from a catastrophic IBS incident.
Words of wisdom: "When in doubt, be ready to s**t your pants"

Does anyone know of a bait shop, supplier, fisherman, restaurant, farm, or private pond owner who may be able to help us legally source some crawfish/crawdads?

They would only be used briefly for filming, handled responsibly, and not released. We can offer a Special Thanks credit in the film.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Please comment or message us.
