To all the 2020 theatre seniors:
All your family may not get to see you cross that stage. However, they have seen you cross many other stages. They have seen you work tirelessly for that one moment- your moment. You may have been dressed in black and not actually seen on stage, but your art, your passion, was displayed in other ways.
They saw you pour yourself into your craft. They saw you display your heart and soul for all to see. They saw that mistake that no one else caught. They saw you work on that one part of the show that gave you trouble. They saw you connect with a room full of strangers on a deep, emotional level in a couple of hours or less. They saw you- all of you.
Forget the stage. Forget the audience. They have already witnessed the awesome power of your movement on a stage.
Love you all,
Mrs. Lisa Nixon
