The Union

The Union Art Studios and Gallery The Union is Jacksonville, FL's newest artist studio and gallery.

We are a group of painters, illustrators and photographers that have come together under one roof to share in artistic camaraderie, and give the city a new venue to see some of the best new up and coming artistic talent. Keep up with us to know about the latest gallery shows that will be happening regularly through the year.

This is Minda. I created this page with Tammy in the way back when the studios opened. Yesterday, I attended an event at the renovated Union Station. So different, but the same. It tugged on my heart strings. I wish she was still here to see some of what she had envisioned.

There are photographs of doors, elevators, and the structure hanging on the walls. There are actual doors and other elements scattered here and there. I wish I could have traveled up to 3B, but I'm pretty sure it's someone's apartment now, or a series of apartments.

Here are a few shots I grabbed with my phone. I miss everyone and what we had together.

Hello FB Friends of Tammy McKinley - her “Celebration of Life” is planned for October 13th, 2023 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Five Points Chapel & Gardens located at 702 Margaret St. Jacksonville FL 32204. Tammy LOVED Halloween so we thought “Friday the 13th” in the month of October was the perfect date. Please come with your favorite memory to share. Some of her photography and artwork will be on display. Light refreshments will be available. Tammy’s motto “Live Like You Mean It” truly captures her adventurous spirit, unwavering beliefs, and limitless passion and will be the theme for this occasion. Feel free to comment or ask questions on this FB page.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that The Union Art Studios and Gallery will be closing after 8 years. We have had a great run and I am honored to have been a contributing partner in the Jacksonville art community. I would like to thank everyone that has supported us throughout the years. I am hopeful that a new opportunity to help local artists create, show and sell their work will present itself soon.
In the meantime, we will be selling off the contents of the studio for the next 30 days. Original art, used furniture, appliances, home deco and diy items, and a variety of stuff. I will be posting stuff daily here and on marketplace. And we will have at least one giant warehouse sale on Feb. 26th from 12:00-4:00. Please let me know if you would like a private shopping tour in advance of the warehouse sale.
