The Dance Shack No partner needed! Make new friends! Try us out with a Free Newbie Class and Private Lesson! Private lessons are available from any of our instructors.

Jacksonville's adult social dance studio specializing in dance lessons for all experience levels. We teach Salsa dance classes, swing, ballroom, and country-western dance, too. You don't need any previous dance experience to join our beginner classes. If you've been wanting to learn to dance, there's no better time than now!

For over a decade, the International West Coast Swing Rally has been a beloved tradition all around the world. Votes decide the year’s song of choice, then WCS pros choreograph a routine for Westies everywhere to learn and perform! 🌎

Over 240 cities and more than 6,000 dancers participate yearly, with the goal of promoting West Coast Swing! ✨️

Come join us - and the world - and learn this awesome routine! We’ll be performing it at the Summer Showcase on July 25th (but performing is totally not required)

There'll be classes every Monday till then to get you ready!

Even if you don’t want to participate in the performance, the choreography is tons of fun and will teach you a bunch of cool styling and musicality you can use in your regular social dancing!

🗓 We start THIS MONDAY the 1st from 8:00 – 9:00pm
🎟 Each class is $15 for members ($20 for non-members)
👣 All Levels are welcome, and no partner is needed

Just want something easy and cheerful?

Come hang with us! 🎉🎄

We’ll have music on, snacks to share, fun activities, and lots of good company. No pressure - just a cozy, festive place to spend your day. ☺️

Bring your favorite treat or dish to share, grab a partner (or go solo), and enjoy a mix of dance and Christmas music all night long! We’ll have board games for those who want a little break from the dance floor, and plenty of room to mingle, laugh, and just have fun.

When: December 25th, 5:00 - 7:00pm is the official time but we'll stay as late as everyone is happy 😊

It's finally here!! Join us for our most special night of the year at our 2025 Winter Showcase!

We'll have a spread of hors d'oeuvres, dinner, desserts, and beverages, as well as fun performances that showcase the dedication and progress of our dance community 😍

Enjoy the show, some great food, and tons of open dancing! This party is for ALL our students, no matter what dance you do and whether you're brand new or a veteran.

The doors open TONIGHT, December 13th at 7pm!
