Buddy Month is in full swing and our Advanced Teens brought some buddies to class! 💜

Who are you inviting to class this month?

It was a great weekend catching up with our amazing DPAC alum James Boyd and supporting Manhattan Dance Project

Part of the beauty of TranscenDance is being a reflect on where you are and how you got there. We are so honored to be a part of James’ journey and love seeing him share that passion with the 💜

As we wrap up our focus on Transcending Fear, we’re stepping into a new pillar of TranscenDance... Transcending Together. Inside the studio, that looks like Buddy Month this October, where dancers get to invite a friend to join them in class and share the joy of dance. Outside the studio, it means celebrating each other’s wins, big and small, and lifting up our community with kindness and support.

Before we dive in, we’re sharing a few of the fears our staff opened up about this month. Their stories remind us that courage grows when we show up for one another. 💜

Let’s transcend fear, transcend the ordinary, and transcend together!

This season, we’re leaning wholeheartedly into our theme of TranscenDance and exploring how dance helps us rise above challenges both inside and outside the studio. For October, we’re focusing on transcending fear, and our staff is sharing their own stories of fears they’ve overcome over time. Follow along this season as we continue to transcend in dance and beyond.

✨ What an incredible weekend for our Ensemble performers! ✨
We teamed up once again with , a project‑based production company, for our annual Storytellers video experience, and our dancers absolutely shined.

This special experience takes dancers beyond the studio, where they learn choreography and film on location to create a one‑of‑a‑kind dance video. Our Ensemble performers had a blast diving into this creative process, which included testing their learning skills, exploring a new style of performance, and discovering a fresh perspective on storytelling through dance. Thank you to Lori Bristol and the entire team at Three Hearts Dance for continuing to help our dancers shine! 💜
