To every human helping bring Runway to Resilience: A Night of Hope to life: thank you.
When I first imagined this night, I could see the stories, the art, the runway, and a room full of people choosing to show up for one another. What I could not have done was bring all of that to life alone. You have met this dream with your time, your talent, your spaces, your resources, and your belief in what Project Human Inc. is building.
Together, our supporters have committed $7,204 in documented in-kind support so far. Behind that number are people making room for us: a venue opening its doors, students offering their skills, artists and designers creating, music and speakers giving the night its voice, businesses helping guests feel welcome, and neighbors contributing gifts and experiences to help us raise funds.
To The Experience, LOL JAX Film Festival, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Heartspace Art, Manic Quarantine Designs, DJ Xella, Jacksonville Icemen, Office Depot, Club Pilates Fleming Island and Downtown Jacksonville, Red Lei Lounge, Aligned Events Co., and every creative partner, volunteer, donor, and supporter standing beside us: I am deeply grateful.
I know what it feels like to doubt a dream and still decide to keep going. Your support has been a guiding light through those moments. You remind me why I believe every human is worth the effort, and why a story of resilience deserves to be told all the way through.
On October 24, this community will help us create more than a fashion and art fundraiser. We will make space for connection, hope, and the human stories at the heart of our documentary.
