As we march down memory lane today, enjoy this interview with our 2025 Best Film winner Drew Taylor as he discusses finding his lane in comedy and how great it felt to screen his film in his hometown!

Submissions are still open until June 30th for LOL JAX Film Festival. Contest rules are as follows:

Can be sent using Google Drive, WeTransfer or Dropbox.

🎬 Film has to be made after January 2025. There is a 10 minute total run time for film submissions. Any film credits will need to be within the 10 minute run time.

🏘️ Must be a comedy short or skit. Project must involve someone from / lived or affiliated with Jacksonville (surrounding area).

🎞️ All films and skits need to be filmed horizontal and not vertical to fill the screen.

🎤 For Stand-Up Comedians:
Submit a 2-5 minute video of your stand-up routine.
