Every band has that moment in rehearsal…
When someone finally says:

“Yo… when was the last time you changed your strings?”

or

“Are those drum heads still original?? 😅”

So let’s settle it:

🎸 Guitar strings — do you change them weekly, monthly, or “when they break”?
🎸 Bass strings — same question… or do you ride them until they go completely dead for that thumpy tone?
🥁 Drum heads — do you replace for sound… or only when they’re visibly destroyed?

Some players chase that fresh, bright tone.
Others swear “broken-in sounds better.”
