Hey everyone! Sorry we’ve been MIA. I’ve been losing track of the days and I feel like the episode of Friends where Rachel is complaining to Monica “the days turn into nights, and then it’s days again, and the days turn into nights. AND THEN ITS THE DAY AGAIN” 😂😂😂 we both got Nintendo Switches and have been playing and are obsessed. Anyone on here play and want to be friends?!

So with all this time we have now that we’re social distancing I’ve been on social media a bit more. I noticed everyone talking about Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Switch about 2 days ago. Well I’ve never felt so left out 😂 I started looking to buy one and they’re literally sold out everywhere. My boyfriend ended up scoring one off Facebook Marketplace. For the past 2 hours I’ve been lost in the game and it’s really relaxing lol.
What I’ve you guys been doing to pass the time? I was going to get some puzzles but the ones I want are all sold out and none are available for shipping.

I’m going to be channeling my inner Frida the next few weeks: crafting, painting, DIY-ing to keep myself sane. A lot of my anxiety is stemmed from health concerns so this stupid virus really has me freaking out.
But on a lighter topic: What are you all having for dinner tonight?! I need recommendations on what I should make!

I have been trying to my house the past few days while myself from anything unnecessary. But I just haven’t had the energy. I had all these plans to scrub & dust and mop. I got my bedroom done but the rest of the house is still in shambles 😂😭 so I have just been binging Netflix and trying to come up with creative dinner ideas. What are you all doing to pass the time?

Really missing the happiest place on earth hard today. Sometimes it’s really nice to just plan a day trip and fully immerse yourself in the Disney atmosphere and completely forget what is happening outside the gates. My life keeps getting more and more curveballs thrown at it. Someone super close to me just had to have hospice called in, so for the next how ever long I have I plan to spend as much time as I can with them. If I can just ask for positive thoughts on this persons passing being as easy and painless as possible that would mean the world to me right now. I know everyone is going through their own kind of difficult situations but I hope we can all be here for each other in any way that is needed. Sorry to have such a down post today. If anyone else has any unspoken prayer requests going on you can leave them below 💕 I hope everyone is staying as safe and healthy as possible.

A little fun fact about me (Alycia) I’m first generation American, full blooded Irish! My mom and dad were born and raised in A town called Monasterevin it is in Kildare, Ireland where they went to school together and started dating. My dad moved to America for a job & my mom followed! My dads side of the family moved over here as well and my moms side stayed behind, so as a kid, my mom brought me to Ireland every year to visit! I made some of my best friends over there. ☘️ I also have dual citizenship! Hoping to retire over there when the time comes ☺️ what is a fun fact about you?!

Watching all these videos on fb of helicopter footage of the empty parks is so so sad. I hate that it has come to this, but I’m grateful for Disney putting everyone’s health first. This virus is spreading faster than our health professionals can keep up with and that is the main reason for everywhere closing down! Please you guys for the sake of everyone’s health, just be careful. Don’t be out around groups of people if it’s unnecessary & wash your hands! My husband still has to go into work and it kills me 😩

So our trip has been postponed obviously now that WDW is going to be closed down for the rest of the month. Instead we’ll be staying home, hunkering down watching Disney+ and making new ears for upcoming trips. Glad to hear that they are tacking on the extra days that the parks is closed if you are an AP though I wasn’t too worried about that.
Main thing is we hope everyone stays safe and healthy 💕
