When I was 17 going on 18, spaces like meant so much to me. It was one of the places that helped me get into DJing.

We need more spaces like that.
Not everything has to be 21+. Not everything has to revolve around alcohol. And not every young adult should have to choose between staying home, sneaking into spaces, or going to sketchy parties just to have somewhere to be.

Make the event 18+. Make it all-ages. Put the X on the hands. Use wristbands. Keep the bar controlled.

It can be done.
Young people need culture, music, community, and safe places to go. And if we don’t create those spaces, we can’t be surprised when they take up space in ways people don’t like.

is my first offering to this Ideal. I hope it catches on
