Tonight’s Paint and Sip at the Ransom Room in downtown Jacksonville was once again, an amazing night! Everyone did such a wonderful job, shared some laughter and great conversation! And the best part was the slice of butter pecan cake I took home!

If you haven’t been-trust me….the desserts themselves are worth the trip!

This evening we took a “Walk Through Fall” at Ducks Grille & Bar while we painted and sipped and had a great time!!

She’s finally finished. 💙🌾

After many layers, lots of second-guessing, and a whole lot of work, I finally put the brushes down.

This painting was inspired by the beautiful marshes and sound behind Carolina Avenue in Topsail Beach, where my family has vacationed for many years.

But to me, it’s much more than just a pretty view. It’s where my boys have spent countless hours catching bait and exploring the marsh, where I’ve spent mornings paddle boarding and where my family has spent many evenings watching sunsets over the water.

There are years and years of summer memories tucked into this view, which is probably why I wanted so badly to get this painting just right. She definitely made me work for it 😂, but maybe that makes me love her even more.

A little piece of Topsail and a whole lot of memories on canvas.
