Who wants to compose a full double-reed Double Trouble: A Global Double Reeds Ensemble arrangement of John Rutter's Requiem for all instruments from the family, including instruments from all countries and ages (Baroque oboes, Heckelphone, etc.)? Mark Gebhardt from Jacksonville wants to be the assistant conductor...who will be the conductor?

SPONSORSHIP NEEDED!

I found these links (below) on YouTube and want you to listen to and imagine all double reed players worldwide performing this arrangement of "Fanfare for the Common Mandrel" by Stacey Becker simultaneously in unity. (Stacy, please rearrange to include all double reed instruments)

This performance would be the debut of the "Double Trouble" double reeds wind ensemble that is sure to bring a smile to your face and a tear from your ear -- hehehe...tears of joy, I mean.

Double Trouble players worldwide could possibly represent all ages, genders, races, creeds, cultures, sexual orientations, etc. This could be a small sample of the world's population that represents all people, just with chapped lips from the double reeds. Only a double reed player could understand this horror!

This SPECIAL performance would feature double reed ensembles from communities everywhere, playing in realtime the first notes precisely at 11:11 a.m. in the time zone hosting the special bi-annual event. This special time signifies that your spirit guides are attempting to contact you, a clear sign from the universe to become aware and enlightened. Personally, it represents two people who are united with God and stand beside each other, like a soulmate.

This concert would be during and at the start of the opening ceremony of the first global "Olympics of the Arts" on Art Day 2021, July 2, 2021 (the middle of the year during this special decade of excellent vision), which is hoped to be held in Jacksonville, FL USA if the city can wrap up major construction projects around town and within surrounding communities of Florida's First Coast.

If not in Jacksonville, the first global special celebration would be held in Athens, Greece, the birthplace of the popular and treasured Olympic Games. Then moving to Jacksonville in 2023, as the "Olympics of the Arts" is intended to be held on years between the traditional Olympic Games.

This concert would serve as the torch of the Explosion of the Arts global art festival and will be the sound of the eternal flames of cleansing and peace, the art communities' answer to what seems to be the current brink of WWIII.

According to an early 2000s art organization Rennaisance 2001 (or R2001, creators of Art Day), art is the heART of the eARTh. ENJOY THE FOLLOWING LINKS, especially the ear-piercing polyphonic tones in The Blue Danube:

This page is meant to be the start of "Double Trouble". Just imagine thousands of double reed players performing Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man," with oboes as trumpets and contrabassoons as percussion! It will surely bring a smile to your face and a tear from your ear!! :-)

A new “Fanfare for the Common Man”

Double Trouble is the name of a detailed dreamed plan involving a very special performance of all double reed players in unison across the world, performing "Fanfare for the Common Mandrel" by Stacey Becker (a unique interpretation of Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” mixed with other arrangements of popular tunes with wit and humor), as the start to the opening ceremonies of a very special global art event that should occur bi-annually on Art Day on years between the Olympic Games and debut on 7-2-21 in Athens, Greece then moving to Jacksonville, FL USA in 2023. Double reed players are requested to unite to make this happen in real time -- admins and other helpers are needed to organize, promote, and recruit!
