Hey neighbors! We hear you. The Forge has been going through a much-needed facelift along with some of the less glamorous but very necessary upgrades — plumbing, HVAC, flooring, kitchen, roofing, bathroom makeover and other behind-the-scenes improvements. Right now, we’re waiting on permits to move forward with our expansion. Once those are finalized, we’ll be ready to share a timeline and get the doors open. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to welcome you all back soon!

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE FORGE
To our friends and neighbors in Murray Hill —

First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued support and patience during our renovation journey. Your excitement has kept us going, and we’re getting close!

The renovations are progressing steadily, and we’ve reached a pivotal decision point:

While our back patio addition and family restroom upgrades are still awaiting final permits and construction, nearly everything else is ready — the kitchen, bar top, floors, tables, and main restrooms are fully operational, and our team is eager to serve!

This brings us to the big question:
Do we wait for a full Grand Opening with every detail complete, or do we host a soft opening and start welcoming guests now?

A soft opening would mean launching with limited hours on Mondays and Tuesdays to allow for ongoing work — but we’d be able to offer food, drinks, events, and a chance to finally gather with this amazing community.

We’d love to hear your thoughts. Would you join us for a soft opening while we put the finishing touches on your new favorite neighborhood spot?

UPDATE: We had the opportunity to go ahead and expand our space and add on to our back patio.
Instead of closing after opening to demo, we are going to do it now to ensure perfection for our opening.
Cumberland Band will still play Friday, just at our friend The Muse Bourbon Bar and Grill
We take care of our performers and wanted to ensure they still get to perform as well as get paid.
We also want to take care of our customers and feel like the added space will well benefit everyone!
We appreciate your patience and we will share the renovation updates as they take place!
Please make sure to go to the relocated performance of Cumberland Friday at 7-11PM “the same time spot” at The Muse!

Announcement: Unfortunately we are going to have to postpone our soft opening and Julia Gulia on June 14th.
We our encountering a few delays with the remodel with inspections and working to get everything perfect for the opening.
We are eager and excited to host everybody and just want to make sure everything is up to a standard unlike anything this place has seen before.
Progress is happening rapidly and we can’t wait for you to see it!
We appreciate the love and support and will update once we have our new date! 🔥🧡

We are very excited to announce our second band of the month.
Help us welcome Cumberland Band! Featuring Hunter Hays with HAYS Music!
They’re a first for us, but a favorite for this location and always deliver an amazing performance.
Make sure to save the date: Friday, June 20th 7-11PM
You won’t want to miss it! Make sure to get here early, save a seat, and grab a bite and a drink!

As mentioned on one of our earlier posts, we are still trying to regain full access to this page. Certain features we have not been given permission to alter, change, delete, edit, or post.
We created The Forge - JAX brand new with full access for our team.
Please go follow and look out for events and updates on that page.
Anything promised or booked by Larissa, as of now, has been cancelled.
Bare with us as we figure out what events we would like to have and to what capacity. We still have a bunch of remodeling in the works and are learning as we go!

At this time, the only band we have booked is Julia Gulia if you would like to perform here, please go through the messaging system on The Forge - Jax page 🔥
