DJ Cat
Hailing from the dance community in South Carolina, Cat calls Greenville Fusion Dance home. With a dance journey spanning seven years, this seasoned DJ, although still learning and growing, has honed a unique ability to weave together diverse musical genres and dance styles, creating an immersive experience for dancers. From sultry blues melodies to the eclectic fusion of sounds, Cat's repertoire varies, inviting dancers to explore new dimensions of movement and connection. Having graced the floors at various events along the east coast, Cat is not just a purveyor of music; they're a storyteller crafting unforgettable moments on the dance floor.

Meet our amazing instructor for next weekend at 8:15pm:

Gracie is the Logistics Coordinator for Greenville Fusion. She dances a wide variety of styles, with her current focus being West Coast Swing and Fusion. Specializing in adapting dance mechanics for different bodies, Gracie believes that teaching accessibility benefits everyone! Gracie found social dancing in 2016 and revels in anything that presents an opportunity for the perfect body roll. She believes passionately that the foundation of good social dancing is connection, clear communication, and embracing a sense of playfulness.

She's going to be teaching us:
“Yes and - A Fusion Approach to Call and Response”

They say the whole is greater than the sum of the parts! We explore this idea in dance by utilizing bouncing ideas from both sides of the partnership back and forth to blend styles, communicate ideas, and come up with a dance that is a truly novel representation of the two unique dancers involved.
