Join us on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center in Moose for a day of wild fun and learning!​

🌿 Theme: Explore the mysterious animals that hide in our ecosystems, the magical adaptations that help them survive, and the mythical tales that connect people to wildlife. ​

Activities Include:

On the first Sunday of every month, year-round, admission to the National Museum of Wildlife Art is FREE for area locals. On the first Sunday of the winter months, the museum organizes a family-friendly day with special programs and events connected to the exhibitions on view.

February First Sunday special programming will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 4. This elk-themed event will include elk education presented by the US Fish & Wildlife Service with a special guest, National Elk Refuge representative Kari Cieszkiewicz, a musical performance by Jackson Hole Community Jazz Band, a touch station with pelts and antlers, a scavenger hunt in the galleries, and an elk-themed tote bag craft for all ages.

The snow is fallin' and a visit to Santa Claus is callin' ! Head over to the Stage Stop building on the Square every night starting December 16th, from 5 to 7 p.m. until Christmas Eve, when he then needs to depart to fly around the world. And the Big Jolly Elf is also making a visit to the National Museum of Wildlife Art tomorrow (Sunday, December 3rd) for First Sundays when admission is FREE for locals 😊🫶🎅

The National Museum of Wildlife Art's December First Sunday on Dec. 3 is called “Wild about the Season” and will include special programming that will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This special holiday-themed event will include a North Pole letter-writing station, winter ornament craft making, and a visit from a bilingual Santa with holiday sing-alongs. Don't forget the event is FREE for locals!

11 a.m. – Noon.: Visits with Santa
Noon – 12:30 p.m.: Sing-along with Santa
1 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Visits with Santa
2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Sing-along with Santa
